Check out our wonderful logo, hand-crafted by local Methow Valley artist Hannah Viano ! The relationship between lynx and snowshoe hares is a classic example of cyclical predator-prey dynamics. Relationships such as these are important to our understanding of the intimate role individual species can play in the ecology of an ecosystem as a whole. Both snowshoe hares and lynx are native species in our region of the North Cascades, and as we have had the opportunity to study these animals, we feel their relationship is a powerful representation of the ecosystem we call our Home Range .
